Howdy Manco!!

Harvey Stephens began his film career in 1931, in the movie, The Cheat. Between 1931-1945, Stephens appeared in over 50 films, including, Robin Hood Of El Dorado, The Oklahoma Kid, When The Daltons Rode and Sergeant York. After an 8 year absence, Stephens began another career in t.v.,appearing in many of the t.v. westerns popular during the 50's and 60's like, Bat Masterson, Tombstone Territory, Tales Of Wells Fargo, Cheyenne, and ending his career on Bonanza.

Friz Freleng began his career as a cartoon animator in 1927. Shortly therafter, he went to work for Walt Disney, then Warner Brothers and eventually became partners in the Depatie-Freleng studios, where he produced literally hundreds of carton shorts, like Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny etc.. He won 5 Academy Awards for Tweetie and Speedy Gonzales and 3 others. Rumor has it, that the cartoon character, Yosemite Sam was based on Friz Freleng.

Tom Tully was a longtime character actor, who began his career back in the 30's. He appeared in Tomahawk, Blood On The Moon, The Carpetbaggers, Arrow In The Dust and Coogan's Bluff. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his role as the Captain that Humphrey Bogart replaced in , The Caine Mutiny. He will probably be best remembered for his role on the 1954 t.v. series, Lineup. After traveling with Bob Hope to entertain the troops in Vietnam in 1971, he became ill with a blood clot, which required the amputation of his leg. The complications resulting from this surgery, eventually cost him his life.

In a career that spanned 40 years, Tom Weston played crazed killers, conmen, scheming thieves, cowards, drunks and every other role imaginable. He appeared in Wait Until Dark, The Cincinnati Kid, The Thomas Crown Affair and many others. He also appeared in many of the popular t.v. westerns and sitcoms.

Although not generally thought of as an actor, nevertheless, Kenny Rogers has appeared in the made for t.v. films, Coward Of The County, Sixpack and the Gambler series, Luck Of The Draw, The Return Of The Gambler and Rio Diablo. He is best known for his many country music songs, including Reuben James, Coward Of The County, Lucille and many others. He was recently presented the Diamond award by the C.M.A. for selling over 10 million copies of his " greatest hits album".

Isadore "Friz" Freleng created the character Yosemite Sam. Freleng was never satisfied with Bug's Bunny's regular nemesis Elmer Fudd. Freleng often denied any resemblence between himself an Yosemite Sam, Freleng's daughter said there is a little Friz in Sam. Some of Freleng's other inspirations for Sam were Red Skelton's "Sheriff Deadeye" and Tex Avery's cartoon character "Dangerous Dan McFoo."
