Howdy Manco!!

Like the fella we did yesterday, Pancho Cordova began his career in 1951 and was almost exclusively an actor in Mexican films, up untill the mid 60's, when he appeared in Rage. He next appeared in Guns For Sans Sabastian, Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid and Two Mules For Sister Sara. He did his last acting in 1983.

Is there any western fan, who doesn't know who Maureen O'Hara is???????
This beautiful irish redhead began her career in 1939, in the film, Jamaica Inn. John Ford spotted her and next cast her in ,How Green Was My Valley. She went on to do several films with Ford,. She was then cast in the Christmas classic, Miracle On 34th Street. She has appeared with John Wayne in The Quite Man, McClintock, and Big Jake , along with Spencer's Mountain with Henry Fonda. She is particuarly good in westerns and starred in War Arrow, The Redhead From Wyoming, The Rare Breed and others. Her resume spans over 60 years and reads like a whos who in Hollywood. She has continued to appear in film through the year 2000. She married a fella, who wanted to start an airline in the Virgin Islands. After his death, she became president of the airline. She has homes in both Arizona and Ireland. I cannot believe she's 92 years old today!

Glenn Corbett began his career in film in 1959 and shortly therafter was cast in the t.v. series, It's A Man's World. It was a good series with Ted Bessel and Michael burns as I recollect, about a group of folks that lived on a houseboat. He next took on a starring role in Route 66, replacing George Maharis. He was then cast in the Jimmie Stewart, Civil War film, Shenandoah, as the oldest of Stewart's sons. He has also appeared in 2 films with the Duke. Chisum, in which he played Pat Garrett and Big Jake, in which he played a half breed gunslinger. He left us too soon, at the young age of 59.

Floyd"Red Crow" Westerman was born into a subgroup of the Lakota Sioux nation. He began his career as a singer, before making his film debut in 1989. He has appeared in numerous films, such as Dances With Wolves, Lakota Woman, Son Of The Morning Star, Hildago and in Commanche Moon.
He will probably be best remembered as Chief Ten Bears in Dances With Wolves.

Maureen O'Hara started her career at the age of 18, and got her big break the following year when she was cast as the gypsy Esmeralda in the 1939 version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. She went on to make 65 films between 1938 and 2000, five of them co-starring John Wayne, and five directed by John Ford. She is probably one of the best actresses to have never won an Academy Award.

Glenn Corbett played in a lot of TV shows in the '60s and '70s, but is remembered mostly for playing Zephram Cochrane, the inventor of the warp drive, in the Star Trek episode Metamorphosis.
