Howdy Manco!!

Noah Beery jr. came from a famous line of actors, which included the great Wallace Beery as his uncle and his father, Noah Beery Sr. Noah jr., first appeared in film with his father in 1920, when he was 7 years old, in The Mark Of Zorro. He was cast in 2 films with John Wayne, The Trail Beyond and as Montgomery Clift's buddy in Red RIver. He has appeared in innumerable films during his long career, including War Arrow, White Feather, Sergeant York, The Fastest Gun Alive and as the Father of Joe Don Baker in the original Walking Tall and many more, but it is the role of James Garner's father, in the t.v. series The Rockford Files, that he will be best remembered for.

Jeff Corey was active in Hollywood before the House On Unamerican Activities began it's witch hunt. When he was summoned to appear before them, he not only didn't provide any more names, but actually critisized some of their "witnesses" testimony. For this, he was blacklisted for over 10 years. During this time, he taught some of Hollywood's brightest stars their craft. Names, such as Jane and Peter Fonda, Robert Blake, Leonard Nimoy, Jack Nicholson and others attended his school. In the 60's, he began acting again, with his role as the Sheriff in Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid and as Wild Bill Hickok in Little Big Man and the role for which he will be best remembered, as Tom Chaney, the murderer of Kim Darby's father in True Grit.

Rhonda Fleming is simply one of the most beautiful women to ever appear on the silver screen. With her Fiery red hair and her peaches and cream complexion, she was known as the queen of Technicolor. Beginning her career in the 40's with films like The Spiral Staircase, Spellbound and A Connecticut Yankee In King Authur's Court. She was equally adept in westerns, like Abilene Town, Gunfight At The O.K. Corral, Gun Glory, Bullwhip and Alias Jesse James. She has also appeared in several western t.v. series over the years, like Wagon Train, and The Virginian. One of her most memorable was a t.v. movie from a compilation of The Virginian episodes, titled Backtrack, as Carmelita. A humorous bit of trivia about .Ms Fleming came from Robert Fuller's interview on the 1st color season of the Wagon Train dvds. Fuller Idolized .Ms Fleming and he finally got to do a scene with her in his role of Cooper Smith on the series. .Ms Fleming wore a low cut blouse for her role in the scene. The day after the scene was shot, the director and producer of the series, called Fuller into the screening room and told him he would have to reshoot the scene. When Fuller asked why, they replayed the scene on a large screen. Fuller realized, that during the entire scene, he never took his eyes off .Ms Fleming's ample bosom. When he asked them, if it was necessary to explain to .Ms Fleming, they both replied, YES!! Fuller talked about the long embarassing walk to .Ms Fleming's trailer, the expected dressing down about professionalism on the set from her and the wait while the 2 men went in and explained it to her. When they came out and Fuller went in to apoligize to her, to his surprise, he found her laughing about it!!!!! It's hard to believe she's 89 years old today.

Tom Laughlin began his career in film, in 1955, but it was in 1967, that he hit it big, with the film, Born Losers and his role of Billy Jack, the kick boxing, half breed Indian. He began a series of films, like, Billy Jack, Billy Jack Goes To Washington and The Trial Of Billy Jack. Later he appeared in The Master Gunfighter and in The financial flop, The Legend Of The Lone Ranger before retiring from film.

Don Swayze began his career in 1984 and has appeared in the t.v. series , The Magnificent Seven and Walker, Texas Ranger. He has also appeared in the films, Powder Blue and Beach Babes From Beyond. He is probably best known for being the younger brother of the late Patrick Swayze.

Antonio Banderas began his career in several Spanish films, in 1984, but got his big break in the films, Desperado, and Once Upon A Time In Mexico, with Johnny Depp. He then took on the role of the western hero, Zorro in the Hollywood romantic, adventure spoofs in , The Mask Of Zorro and The Legend Of Zorro. He has also appeared with Sylvester Stallone in Assassins. A former Hollywood heart throb, who seems to do well in gritty, violent, adventure films.
