Howdy Manco!!

Although Leo Carillo appeared in over 90 films during his career, it is for the role of Pancho, the side kick to the Cisco Kid, played by Duncan Renaldo, that he will best remembered for. Believe it or not, Leo was 70 years old, when he took on this role!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hoot Gibson as a real life rodeo champion before he was an actor. He first appeared with Tom Mix, in the silent film, Pride Of The Range in 1910. During the 20's and 30's, Gibson was 2nd only to Tom Mix as a box office star. He filmed 29 western films, just during the 30's and 12 more during the 40's. After the 40's, he was displaced by the singing cowboys, like Gene Autry and Roy Rogers. His last film was Oceans Eleven in the 60's.

Believe it or not, actor Robert Mitchum actually began his career in 1943, in a Hopalong Cassidy film as a villain. In 1944, he appeared in Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo and his career took off. From this point on, Mitchum continued to act in many different genre, like Blood On The Moon, Macao, Track Of The Cat, Night Of The Hunter, Cape Fear, River Of No Return, Anzio, Thunder Road, The Longest Day. Mitchum continued to revisit westerns with films like, Man With The Gun, The Good Guys And The Bad Guys, Young Billy Young, El Dorado etc. Although many will say, his best films were during the 40's-60's, Mitchum continued to turn out great films like the made for t.v. film, The Winds Of War. He even narrated the films Tombstone and Dead Man in his 70's. Robert Mitchum was one of the greatest actors of Hollywood's golden era ad beyond.

Lois Nettleton will probably be best remembered for A Face In The Crowd, The Man In The Glass Booth and The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas and Mail Order Bride, along with her many guest appearances on t.v.shows but she gave one of the best performances in the western comedy, Dirty Dingus McGee, I've ever seen, as the virginal Schoolteacher .Miss Prudence, with Frank Sinatra and George Kennedy. It will leave you rolling in laughter

Although Michael Anderson .Jr has appeared in over 70 films during his career, he will be best remembered for the films, The Sons Of Katie Elder, in which he played the youngest brother of the Duke. The Sundowners, Major Dundee and Logan's Run. In the 60's, he also co-starred in the t.v. series, The Munroes with Barbara Hershey.
