Howdy Manco!!

Don Murray was actually born in Hollywood Calif. He made his film debut in 1956 in, Bus Stop with Marilyn Monroe. He has appeared in a few westerns, like, From Hell To Texas and The Plainsman. He starred in a short lived t.v. western series titled, The Outcasts. He has enjoyed a fairly long career, which includes the 2011 film, The Hard Ride. He will probably be best remembered for Bus Stop and the Steve McQueen film, Baby, The Rain Must Fall.

Ted Cassidy appeared in a couple of western films of note, like the member of the Hole In The Wall gang, who tried to take over as leader, in Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid and as a member of Omar Shariff's gang in McKenna's Gold. He also did some voice work for Gene Roddenberry on the old Star Trek series and for Hanna Barberra. At 6 feet, 9 inches tall, he was perfect for the role of Lurch on the t.v. series, The Adams Family. Cassidy actually ad libbed the line" you rang" afer the thunderous door bell on the show and it was so funny, that the producers regularly wrote it in afterwards.

Geoffrey Lewis is a very talented character actor, who has worked with Clint Eastwood in many of Eastwood's films, some of which, Eastwood starred in and some of which Eastwood directed. Lewis can play comedy or dramatic roles with equal talent. He was one of the 3 villains in High Plains Drifter, the gang leader in Pink Cadillac and also appeared in Any Which Way But Loose, Any Which Way You Can, Midnight In The Garden Of Evil, Bronco Billy and Thunderbolt And Lightfoot. He also played an excellent role in the original 1979 film, Salem's Lot.

Michael Biehn is one of the younger crop of actors in Hollywood, along with DeNiro and Pacino. His first appearance in film, was a bit part in the 1978 film, Grease, with John Travolta. From there, his career took off, with excellent roles in, Terminator, Aliens, Abyss and as Johnny Ringo in Tombstone. He also took on the role of Chris, in the t.v. series, The Magnificent Seven. His career is still going great guns today, and I look forward to watching more of his acting talents in the future.

The name Don Murray rang a bell with me, but I couldn't remember from where, and I had to look it up! He played Breck in Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. I don't think I can recall seeing him in anything else, although he's done a lot of stuff, and is still active.

Ted Cassidy will always be Lurch to most of us. He also played the android Ruk in the Star Trek episode That's What Little Girls Are Made Of as well as the voice work Ed mentioned.

Interesting trivia about Michael Biehn: In his three movies directed by James Cameron, he gets bitten: on the hand in Terminator and Aliens, and on the arm in The Abyss.
