Howdy Manco!!

Ann Doran was an American actress that started acting when she was 4 years old. She appeared in hundreds of silent films under different names, in order to keep it from her family. One of the better character actresses, she appeared as the mother of James Dean in Rebel Without A Cause and in National Velvet. She also appeared with the 3 stooges in their films. She did several westerns, like Shootout At Medicine Bend, There Was A Crooked Man and The Hired Hand. She had a recurring role on the 1965 t.v. series, The Legend Of Jesse James, in which she played Jesse and Frank's mother, Zerelda. She also made appearances on many of the 50's and 60's t.v. series, like M-Squad, Perry Mason and The Virginian. She retired from acting in 1988.

Andrew.V.McLaglen was the son of famed actor Victor McLaglen and grew up on movie sets with his father, John Wayne and John Ford. Ford made him an assistant director on The Quite Man and his first films as the director were Man In The Vault and Gun The Man Down with James Arness. It's ironic, that Victor's son would go on to direct the Duke in, Hell Fighters, Chisum, Cahill, U.S. Marshal. The Undefeated and McClintock.
Andrew also worked extensively in t.v. westerns, and directed many episodes of Have Gun Will Travel, Rawhide, and The Virginian. Andrew also directed Shenandoah and The Rare Breed with Jimmy Stewart along with The Devil's Brigade, The Last Hard Men and many more westerns. He is one of the best of the western directors.

Daryl Hickman is the older brother of Dwayne Hickman, who you will remember from Cat Ballou and the t.v. series, The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis. Daryl began his career as a child actor back in the 30's with roles in the classic films, The Grapes Of Wrath, Men Of Boys Town and Leave Her To Heaven and over 100 other films. With his career going great, Daryl decided to enter a monastery in 1951, but left after only 1 year. His career never recovered. When he returned to Hollywood, he was offered fewer roles and he spent the remainder of his acting career appearing in supporting roles on t.v. series, like Annie Oakley, The Man And The Challenge, Sheriff Of Cochise, Men Of Annapolis and Wanted Dead Or Alive. In the late 80's he snagged a key role in the Burt Reynolds film, Sharkey's Machine. Daryl eventually became a t.v. executive and acting coach.
