Howdy Manco!!

Gene Lockhart made his screen debut in the 1922 silent film, Smilin Through. He next popped up in the 1938 version of A Chrismas Carol as Bob Cratchit. In 1941, his career as a character actor got a boost, with his appearance in Billy The Kid and They Died With Their Boots On. A successful actor, he appeared in over 300 films during his career, including Joan Of Arc and The Man In The Grey Flannel Suit. He is also the father of actress June Lockhart!!

Richard Dix appeared in over 40 silent films, including Cecil.B.DeMills' The Ten Commandments before making the transition to talkies. He was cast in many westerns of the 30's and 40's, including an Academy Award nomination for Cimarron. Some of his westerns include Bad Lands Of Dakota, The Cherokee Strip, The Kansan and Tombstone, in which he played Wyatt Earp.

Chill Wills got his start singing with The Avalon Boys and appeared in several westerns with them, but soon disbanded the group and began his acting career. He was cast in several westerns of note, such as the 1940 film The Westerner, 1946, The Yearling, and during the 50's, he became the voice of Francis, The Talking Mule in a series of films. He also appeared in Giant, McClintock, The Rounders and as Lemuel in Pat Garrett And Billy The Kid. He was nominated for the Academy Award for his role of "Beekeeper", the sidekick to Davy Crockett( John Wayne) in the 1960 film, The Alamo.

James Brolin began acting in the early 60's on t.v. series like, Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, Twelve O'clock High, Love American Style and Batman, beore being cast in Capricorn One, The Amityville Horror, and a little scifi film I really like ,titled The Car, because of the customized and souped up Lincoln auto featured in the film. The soundtrack in the film has a train horn dubbed in for the car's horn. He is the husband of singer Barbara Streisand and the father of actor Josh Brolin. He will probably be best remembered for his ole of .Dr Steven Kiley on the 70's-80 t.v. series Marcus Welby.
