Howdy Tinhorn!!

Edmund Cobb had a film resume, that most actors would envy. In a career that spanned from 1912-1966, he appeared in over 600 films!!!!! First appearing in A Pueblo Legend in 1912, he would go on to appear in more westerns than you can count. At first uncredited in many films, then a named actor and finally back to playing unnamed townsmen again. His Grandfather was Govenor of the New Mexico Territory and a Senator.During his salad days, Cobb was married to actress Helen Hayes. He will probably be best remembered for the films, Zorro's Fighting Legions, Jesse James Rides Again, Commanche Territory and The Amazing Colossal Man. He started acting at the age of 20 years and continued through 1967 at the age of 75. He died in the actors woodland hills retirement home in 1974, at the age of 82.

As far as I can determine, Ted Shackelford's western experience is restricted to appearing in 1 episode each of, Guns Of Paradise, The Young Riders and Dead Man's Gun. He is more well known for his recurring roles in t.v. sitcoms like Space Precinct, Another World, the role of Gary Ewing on the 1979-1993 series Knots Landing. He is currently appearing on the t.v. soap The Young And The Restless, in which he played the role of District Attorney William Bardwell. In July of 2007, his character was killed off and in August of 2007, Shackelford returned to the cast as the dead man's twin brother.
For Shackelford's sake, I hope that Bardwell was born into quadruplets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
