Howdy Manco!!

Cliff Edwards was both a singer and actor during the 20's and 30's. He appeared in over 30 films between 1929-1943, including Bad Men Of Brimstone, They Gave Him A Gun, Way Out West and Gone With The Wind. He will be best remembered as the voice of Jiminy Cricket in Walt Disney's 1940 film, Pinnochio.

Burl Ives did it all!! He recorded such hits as Blue Tail Fly, Big Rock Candy Mountain, Have A Holly Jolly Christmas, A little Bitty Tear and many more. He also appeared in over 25 films during his career, including such films as East Of Eden, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Day Of The Outlaw and The Big Country, for which he won an Academy Award For Best Supporting Actor. He also did the voices in many of the 60's and 70's Christmas cartoons, like Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty The Snow Man. He was a man of so many talents, each person will remember him for so many different things.

Gene Barry was primarily a television star, even though he appeared in over 20 films during his over 50 year career. He starred in the 1950's version, War Of The Worlds, Thunder Road and Forty Guns, but he also had 5 different t.v. series, starting with Our Miss Brooks, Bat Masterson, Burkes's Law, The Name Of The Game and The Adventurer. Barry also appeared in the Tom Cruise remake of The War Of The Worlds and as his character Bat Masterson, in Kenny Rogers, The Gambler Returns. Personally, I will always remember him for the dapper, derby wearing, cane twirling character of Bat Masterson, in his 50's t.v. series of the same name.

Sam Wanamaker was both an actor and director in a career that spanned 45 years. Black Listed by the H.U.A.C., he moved to Britain and started anew. He appeared in over 40 films, like Taras Bulba, The Spy Who Came In From The Cold, Superman IV, along with many appearances in t.v. He also directed several episodes of The Defenders, Custer, Cimarron Strip, Hart To Hart and other t.v. series.
