Howdy Manco!!

Raymond Burr was a Canadian born actor, who always seemed to play the villain in his films. He appeared in Rear Window with Jimmy Stewart, Count Three And Pray with Van Heflin and another film with Burt Lancaster( whose title escapes me now) in which he again played the villain. This all changed in 1957, when he took on the starring role in the t.v. series Perry Mason. This series ran for 8-9 years and in the 80's( I think) he took on the role of Ironside, in which he played a wheelchair bound detective, in the series of the same name. Burr could play a nasty bad guy, but I think he will be best remembered as Perry Mason.

Ross Hagen was a voice actor and actor during the 60's and 70's. He appeared in The Hellcats and Speedway during the 60's. He was also cast in the t.v. series, Daktari. He made appearances on The Big Valley and The Virginian, but will probably be best remembered, at least by the younger generation for providing the voice of Landon Ricketts in the video game, Red Dead, Redemption.

Burr played many villains, for me one of the best was in His Kind Of Woman where he wanted to kill Robert Mitchem and take his identity. The most unusual was as one of the Duke Delorca's henchman in Errol Flynn's Adventures of Don Juan, where he wore tights and the other garb from the era of Don Juan. And he lasted longer than many of Flynn's other fencing adversaries.

It was Burr's role as the American reporter in the edited Godzilla that showed he could play a good guy and then came Perry Mason.
