Howdy Pards!!

Although more familiar to Latin movie goers than Americans, Antonio Aguilar was an extraordinary actor and singer. He appeared as General Rojas in The Undefeated with John Wayne and Rock Hudson, Zapata and The Soldiers Of Pancho Villa and over 150 other Mexican films, along with selling over 25 million albums for his singing ability during his career.

Dennis Hopper first appeared in film with James Dean in, Rebel Without A Cause and Giant. Because of his difficult personality, his career almost came to an end. He credited John Wayne with reviving his career, with a part in The Sons Of Katie Elder. While his career languished, he appeared a a gunfighter in the t.v. series, Cheyenne and was in the premiere episode of The Rifleman, titled The Marksman. Larger parts followed, with his co-starring and directing the cult classic Easy Rider. He appeared again with the Duke in True Grit. His starring role in the wacky western, Kid Blue, with Ben Johnson, Warren Oates and Peter Boyle, still cracks me up. The role of the photographer in Apocalypse Now, Waterworld with Kevin Costner and Speed with Keanu Reeves. Like Jack Nicholson, whose career almost came to an end in the 60's, Hopper perservered and became one of the most prolific actors in Hollywood during his career.
