Burt Bacharach helped write a boat load of hits in the '60s with Hal David. Dionne Warwick did a lot of them, like Walk On By and Do you Know the Way to San Jose. Of course, he's remembered for co-writing Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head, sung by B.J. Thomas in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Luana Anders went to the same acting scool with Jack Nicholson and Sally Kellerman, and did some movies for Roger Corman, like The Pit and the Pendulum. She was also in Easy Rider, Goin' South, The Last Detail, and The Two Jakes, as well as several TV shows.

Bruce Boxleitner played Seth (later Luke) Macahan in TV How the West Was Won, a couple of The Gambler movies with Kenny Rogers, the TV remake of Red River. He also played Frank Buck on Bring 'em Back Alive and Lee Stetson on Scarecrow and Mrs. King. He was married to Melissa Gilbert for 16 years until their divorce last year.

Emilio Estevez, Martin Sheen's son, was one the 1980s Hollywood "Brat Pack" of young actors. He played in the Brat Pack films The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire. In my opinon, he was the best Billy the Kid.

Happy Birthday Bruce Boxleitner!

Mango since you know Bruce and see him when you have meetings, has he said anything about being in any more Westerns coming up for TV. He was in a western a few years back for Hallmark Channel.

Westergal, Sandy
