Howdy Manco!!

Roscoe Lee Browne not only played the role of Nightlinger's namesake in the film, Cowboys with the Duke and the evil Bruce Dern, but also did the voice of the evil robot "Box" in another Bruce Dern vehicle, Logan's Run. He has appeared in approx 50 films and many many sitcoms, including replacing Robert Guillaume as the butler on the sitcom, Soap, when Guillaume moved on to his own show, Benson. A well spoken man, with a rich baritone voice, he always gave me the impression of a very dignified man.

I first saw Bruce Glover, in the Joe Don Baker film, Walking Tall, back in the 70's. He has appeared in, Hard Times, with James Coburn and Charles Bronson and played one of the duo of assassins in, Diamonds Are Forever, with Sean Connery. He repeated his role of the Duputy in the 2 Walking Tall sequels with Joe Don Baker and has appeared in many of the 60's and 70's t.v. series. Although most will remember him for his role in the 007 film, I always think of him as the Tennessee Deputy of Buford Pusser.

Ed, the killers in Diamonds Are Forever weren't twins. Their names were Mr. Wint (Glover) and Mr. Kidd (Putter Smith). Putter smith was a balding guy with a big mustache and glasses. Charles Gay had dual roles in that movie, as Ernst Stavro Blofeld and Blofeld's double.

Howdy Tinhorn!!

Sorry bout that chief, but that was back during my hard drinking days, and since I saw 2 of Bruce Glover on the screen, I quite naturally assumed he was playing a dual role!!!!! I also thought Putter Smith was playing a dual role, along with everyone else in the film. but I won't elaborate on that at this time. other than to say, I have memories of films, of that period, where I saw several actors play quadruple roles in films!!!!! The 007 films were considered cutting edge technology back then and being a red neck hillbillie, with a jug of moonshine, I failed to comprehend all the subtle nuances of the film. Havin to crawl outta the trunk of a car an sit in a big field with humongous strawberry mounds, didn't help any either!!!!! So, there!!!!!!!!!!!!

Howdy Tinhorn!!

Not to worry, pard. Back then, I was a two gun man, so, if I saw more than one, I just shot at both of'um!!!!
