Howdy Manco!!

William Castle was a director/producer known mostly for his gimmicks in B-films. He made horror films, in which the audience would be given 1000.00 life insurance policies in case they died of fright or a skeleton would be suspended on a wire and floated over the audience during the show. He was involved with The Gun That Won The West and The Law Vs Billy The Kid.

J.D.Cannon appeared as a prisoner in Cool Hand Luke with Paul Newman and as a small rancher killed by Burt Lancaster in Lawman, but it is the role of the cantankerous police Capt. in the 70's t.v. series, McCloud with Dennis Weaver that he will be best remembered for.

Jill Ireland was the wife of actor Charles Bronson and appeared with her husband in films like, Breakheart Pass, The Mechanic, From Noon Till Three, and Hard Times. She was an excellent actress in her own right. She championed the breast cancer campaign after being diagnosed with this disease until her death in 1990.

Michael Parks first received recognition when he appeared as Adam, in John Huston's, The Bible, In The Beginning. He has appeared in the vampire film, From Dusk Till Dawn with George Clooney, Kill Bill Vol I and II, The China Lake Murders, Grindhouse, Deathproof, but it is the 70's t.v. series, Then Came Bronson, that I best remember him for.

Jill Ireland married Charles Bronson after divorcing David McCallum. The men became friends during the making of The Great Escape.

William Castle also produced Rosemary's Baby. He wanted to direct it, also, but the studio told him the material deserved a better director. He has a cameo in Rosemary's Baby as the man standing outside the phone booth when Rosemary calls Dr. Hill (Charles Grodin).
