Everyone knows Eddie Albert from Green Acres. He was also in several movies, most notably as the warden in The Longest Yard. He was a decorated Navy veteran of WWII, who piloted a landing craft during the invasion of Tarawa, and rescued 47 stranded Marines under heavy machine gun fire.

Howdy Pards!!

Belle Bennett was a stage and screen actress during the 20's and 30's. She made her first appearance in Vaudeville. She appeared in Ticket To Red Horse Gulch, Stella Dallas and The Iron Mask. She died at the young age of 41.

Eddie Albert was nominated for an Academy Award for his performances in Roman Holiday and The Heartbreak Kid. He appeared with the Duke in The Longest Day in 1962, a film about the invasion of Europe at Normandy. He must have smiled about this, since he was based in the Pacific during WWII. As Tinhorn said, Albert will be best remembered for his role in the t.v. sitcom, Green Acres with Eva Gabor. Eddie Albert lived to the ripe ole age of 99, but his only son. Eddie Albert .jr, who set his career aside to care for his father, followed him in death about 1 year later.

Mark Damon appeared in several films back in the 60's including Between Heaven And Hell, The Longest Day and Roger Corman's House Of Usher. He moved to Italy and appeared in several spaghetti westerns, before becoming a distributor for U.S. films abroad. His company distributed Das Boot, Never Say Never and Prizzi's Honor.

Jack Nicholson has won the Academy Award 3 times and has been nominated 12 times. He had appeared in The Terror and The Raven and a few other B-films and was about to quit the film business, after producing a couple of westerns which were filmed together in Kanab, Utah, Ride The Whirlwind and The Shooting, when he was offered a small part in the film Easy Rider. The role had originally been written for Actor Rip Torn, but after an argument with Dennis Hopper, Torn left. This role kickstarted Nicholson's career and he has become a Hollywood icon with starring roles in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, The Shining, Terms Of Endearment, Batman, As Good As It Gets, The Departed, Prizzi's Honor and too many more to name here. Without that small part, as the drunken lawyer in Easy Rider, Most of us wouldn't even know who Jack Nicholson is.
