Howdy Manco!!

Bronco "Billy" Anderson was a part time photographer, who became friends with a fella named Porter, who produced one of the first silent western films, titled The Great Train Robbery in 1903. Anderson played 3 roles in this one film. After he attended a theater and saw the audiences reaction to the film, he decided the film business was what he wanted to do. He hooked up with a fella named Spoor and together they formed Essanay productions. A word that included the initials of S & A. Spoor ran the business and Anderson wrote, acted and directed the films. Anderson appeared in over 300 silent films although he wrote and directed about 150 of them. He is best remembered as the FIRST OF THE MOVIE COWBOYS!!!!!

TAKE THAT, TOM MIX!!!!!!!!!
