Howdy Manco!!

Hugh Beaumont appeared in many western series, most often as a good guy, townsfolk, rancher, before he took on the role he will always be remembered for. The role of Beaver's dad, on the 50's sitcom, Leave It To Beaver.

Jimmy Wakely was a country/Western singer and actor that formed the Jimmy Wakely Trio. He and his group appeared with Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy, Charles Starrett and other western stars in films from the 40's through the 50's. I've heard them sing and they were as good as the Sons Of The Pioneers.

Paul Sorensen was a character/supporting actor that oftern appeared in t.v. series as a villain or tough cop. He was in Hang'um High back in the 60's with Clint Eastwood.

William Katt is the son of Bill Williams, a 40's and 50's B western star. He appeared in the t.v. seres, Butch And Sundance, The Early Years, but he is most famous for the 80's t.v. series, Greatest American Hero with Robert Culp.

Aside from Leave It To Beaver, I've seen Hugh Beaumont in the RKO/Val Lewton horror film The Seventh Victim as well as the Universal B sci-fi movie The Mole People with John Agar. I also saw him in episode or two of The Virginian.

William Katt read for the role of Luke Skywalker in the early stages of casting for Star Wars. His mother is Barbara Hale, who played Della Street on Perry Mason.
