Howdy Manco!!

Ah, John Davis Chandler!! Here we go again!! There are sneaky villains, mean villains, vicious villains, but John Davis Chandler is the smarmiest villain of them all!! Think of the meanest, most lowdown act that could be committed against a fellow human being and this guy would laugh about it, with that patented sneer and that look of pure stupidity in his eyes. That photo is from the film Barquero, in which Forest Tucker ties him to a tree in the middle of an ant hill and explains it to him!! "Either you eat them, or they eat you"!!

John Beck has been around for a spell, but his name always brings to mind Deputy Poe, in Pat Garrett And Billy The Kid and the particular scene, in which Garrett(Coburn) has just shot the kid and Poe/Beck bends over the kid with his knife and says" I'm gonna cut his trigger finger off and nail it to a post". This was right before Garrett bends a pistol barrel over his head and then applies his boot to the same appendage!! Good actor!!
