Gregory Walcott was one of Clint Eastwood's Malpaso stock players. He's in four of Clint's movies: Joe Kidd as Bob Mitchell, The Eiger Sanction as Pope, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot as the used car salesman, and Every Which Way But Loose as Putnam (The cop). Clint uses him as a punching bag in all of them (at lest in 3, I've never seen Thunderbolt and Lightfoot).

Tinhorn, regarding your signature, I was watching an episode of the '50's series Yancy Derringer and at the end Jock Mahoney ends it by saying 'I'm your huckleberry'. Derringer takes place in New Orleans so I am wondering if it is a local expression.

The meaning of "I'm your huckleberry" is, basically an answer to a challenge. In Tombstone, Johnny Ringo calls out the Earps, saying "Let's play it my way, and I play for blood." And Doc Holliday steps forward and says "I'm your huckleberry...that's just my game." He was answering Ringo's challenge.

Ron, here's an even better answer to your question:
